Yvonne Matthews, BS, NC, AADP
Yvonne graduated from Bauman College in Boulder in 2016 and has been teaching workshops with her private practice Nutrition. Designed. for over 3 years. She is also a certified herbalist graduating from Rosemary Gladstar’s Sage Mountain Program. She believes strongly in bio-individuality, the idea that everybody is different and should be treated accordingly. Therefore, she doesn’t believe in diets, restriction and deprivation. She uses nutrition to nourish the body and works holistically – body, mind and soul. She combines evidence-based nutrition plus intuition with a powerful combination of food, herbs, supplements and lifestyle habits to get to the root cause of what’s ailing her clients and creating optimal and lasting results. She specializes in women’s hormone balance – including clear skin, fertility, menstrual health, anxiety and depression, weight loss, cravings, addictions, and athletic support!
Kimberly Thompson, LMT
Kimberly has spent the last 20 years cultivating her love and passion for the natural world and sharing it with others. In addition to being a clinical herbalist, Kim is also a Certified Massage Therapist, Aromatherapist, Licensed Esthetician, and Certified Cupping Therapist. She offers herbal consultations to assist clients in their herbal healing journey. She has worked for 18 years at Apothecary Tinctura teaching classes in Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy, and working in the clinic. Her practice at Apothecary and her own private practice has an emphasis on women’s holistic health. She has been teaching classes for the last 5 years for The Denver Integrative Massage School and Herbalism Roots. She loves time in nature teaching people about wildcrafting, medicine making, and plant identification. She also loves teaching and sharing her love of bodywork.
Emory Crebo Wilde, M.D.
Emory’s has an M.D. from the Washington University School of Medicine, and he currently holds a Lecturer position in Integrative Therapies at the Metropolitan State University of Denver, along with teaching part-time in the Holistic Health programs at Red Rocks Community College and Georgian Court University. Emory’s eight years of teaching includes a wide variety of classes in integrative health, such as Stress Management, Yoga, Energy Medicine, Health and the Environment, CAM Therapies, and Mind/Body Health. Along with a selection of Western classes in Biology, Microbiology, Anatomy, Pathology, Pathophysiology, and Medical Terminology, he has taught nearly the entire 500-hour Massage Therapy program at the Community College of Denver and has been a massage therapist since 2003. Perhaps like many, he has found his best learning and teaching to be informal, spontaneous, unique, and unrepeatable as well as completely exhilarating!
